Or maybe you are a more seasoned athlete looking for some technique correction to help improve your lifts?
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and am looking to transition my practice to work with weightlifting athletes. I have my USAW weightlifting coaching certification (which is recognized by the US Olympic Committee) and would like to share my knowledge as I continue to learn to assess and train my patients and athletes.
The sport of weightlifting is incredibly SAFE when proper precautions are followed, and olympic weightlifters are some of the strongest, fastest, most flexible, and most powerful athletes in the world. And, as a physical therapist I am keenly aware of proper form and injury prevention.
