Hitting Coach (Baseball)

One on one Hitting Instructor (12-17 year old)

Hi,

Travel-ball is here and it's time to make a decision: Do you want your son to continue to be just "another kid" on the team to or do you want him to be the BEST hitter? Do you believe that his skills are good enough to take him to the next level if he had the proper coaching? Hitting a baseball is the single most difficult thing to do in sports. Becoming a successful hitter takes hard work, there is no such thing as being born a natural hitter. Star players need the right drills, the right work ethic, the willingness to learn and the desire to put in the necessary practice time. If you have a child who fits this description I will consider him for a student.

I accept only ONE student at a time. I video tape batting practice to help the boys see and remember what they learned. All of my time and energy will be devoted to just that one student. I do NOT conduct group instruction because every player is unique. I don't offer the same old, tired instruction that most coaches push on their students. What I provide is something you won't find anywhere else; patient, individual instruction with daily video analysis. I'm sure that your boy has talent and it's not my intention to reinvent the wheel. Every player is different and has certain inherent strengths. I work with and improve on the tools your child already has. I will make myself available up to 10 hours a week which includes up to 4 days a week and/or 3 hours per session. If it is in season I will even try to attend his games and film each at bat.

I will provide the same type of instruction and support needed to help your boy do what I did for my own son. At one point my son wasn't an athlete, in fact, he was much more likely to be a video game champion than a batting champion. He didn't even decide that he wanted to play baseball until he was 12 years old. To that point he had never played a single game. A short 3 years later he was the starting right fielder for his Freshman High School team. Several boys that had been "Stars" in Little League/Travel Teams for nearly 10 years were cut from that team. His final year in High School he led the team with a .403 batting average, slugging .492% and a 1.012 OPS. He never hit less than .474 in any travel league in which he played, leading the league in hitting on 3 different occasions. I was his ONLY hitting instructor.

The $55 fee includes 2 hours of instructing including video analysis. Please contact me to set up a 10 minute phone interview where we can talk about you and your son's goals. I hope we have the opportunity to work together. Let me help...

Nick

"Hello coach Nick. So great to see you at the game. Andrew was nervous because he wanted to do good for you. Well he did great. Getting the ball on the bat was great. Love to see it."

"He wanted to see you because he wanted to let you know he got a big hit and an RBI in his last game.

He was so happy with his improvement. Thank you very much."

"Lots better getting bat on ball. Yesterday he told me he has to thank you."
